Gordon-Conwell Banner

We are proud to partner with Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary (GCTS) in:

  • Making Disciples
LTI offers leadership to the Pierce Center for Disciple-Building working with 60+ Pierce Fellows per year conducting spiritual formation groups, soul care groups, and soul sabbaths, in addition to one on one mentoring, by which these students are experientially trained in spiritual formation and soul care.

  • Equipping Ministry Leaders
LTI founder and president, Steve Macchia, is one of two primary Faculty Mentors in the Spiritual Formation for Ministry Leaders track in the Doctor of Ministry program at Gordon-Conwell.

  • Training Spiritual Directors
Starting fall 2013, GCTS has added an optional concentration in Spiritual Direction to the Masters in Spiritual Formation. An academically-adapted version of our Selah program (spiritual direction training) is offered in conjunction with the MA in Spiritual Formation for those who feel a call to the ministry of spiritual direction.

  • Championing Healthy Churches
We offer an alumni discount for GCTS graduates on our CHAT Survey - an excellent listening and discernment exercise for church leaders. Visit www.healthychuch.net or contact chat@leadershiptransformations.org for more info on the alumni discount.

Dr. Dennis Hollinger "Leadership Transformations has been a wonderful ministry partner for more than a decade. Their leadership of the Pierce Center for Disciple-Building is the centerpiece of this strategic relationship. In addition, we are delighted with Dr. Steve Macchia's teaching in the D.Min. Department and Dr. Susan Currie's facilitation of the Spiritual Direction track for our new Masters in Spiritual Formation. The CHAT discount offered to alumni-led church leadership teams is a sign of our mutual commitment to local church ministry health  worldwide. We are truly grateful for the LTI team!"

Dr. Dennis Hollinger, President & Colman M. Mockler Distinguished Professor of Christian Ethics
"Find rest, O my soul, in God alone; my hope comes from him. He alone is my rock and my salvation; he is my fortress, I will not be shaken. My salvation and my honor depend on God; he is my mighty rock, my refuge. Trust in him at all times, O people; pour out your hearts to him, for God is our refuge. One thing God has spoken, two things I have heard: that you, O God, are strong, and that you, O Lord are loving."

Psalm 62: 5-8, 11, 12
