In the Sacred Pathways Workshop, Gary Thomas, author of “Sacred Pathways: Nine Ways to Connect with God“, will describe nine spiritual temperatments and–like the Enneagram and other personality assessment tools–encourage you to investigate the ways you most naturally express yourself in your relationship with God. Gary will help you discover the traits, strengths, and tendencies in your devotional approach so you can eliminate the barriers that keep you locked into rigid methods of worship and praise. His goal is to help you embrace the unique pathway through which God designed you to meet and enjoy him on a personal level.

Gary Thomas’ writing and speaking focuses on bringing people closer to Christ and closer to others. He is the author of 20 books that together have sold over two million copies and have been translated into more than fifteen languages. He serves on the teaching team (and as Writer in Residence) at Second Baptist Church, Houston—a congregation with six campuses and 70,000 members—and has served as an adjunct faculty member at Western Seminary in Portland, Oregon and Houston Theological Seminary in Houston Texas.
Gary enjoys running in his spare time and has completed 14 marathons, including the Boston Marathon three times. He and his wife Lisa have been married for 35 years and they have three adult children and one granddaughter.
