Bio
David has been an ordained pastor in the Christian Reformed Church since 1979, retiring from pastoral ministry in 2018. He holds a bachelor’s degree in English from Calvin College, a Master of Divinity degree from Calvin Theological Seminary, and a Doctor of Ministry degree from Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary. David received his training in Leadership Transformation’s Selah Certificate Program in Spiritual Direction, and offers direction under an ongoing relationship with a supervisor and by participating in a peer supervision group. He abides by the Code of Ethics of the Evangelical Spiritual Directors Association.
