Leadership Transformations About Us Banner

History

"In these spiritually challenging times, the great need is for Christian leaders who are being spiritually formed in Christ so they can become spiritually discerning in understanding God's clarion call. When that happens, God's unique will for their individual lives and in shared ministry with others is fulfilled."

Rev. Dr. Stephen A. Macchia, LTi Founder and President

Leadership Transformations, Inc. (LTi) was born out of passionate concern for the spiritual vitality of leaders and leadership teams in local church and parachurch ministry settings nationwide. Leadership Transformations, Inc. was officially launched on July 1, 2003, and is recognized by the IRS as a charitable organization (described in IRS code, section 501(c)(3) as a tax exempt organization). Steve Macchia, and a group of individuals who share a common passion for serving today's Christian leaders, founded LTi as a unique leadership development ministry. Convinced of the need for spiritual leadership that works from a soul-based approach, they set out to pioneer a new work with this strategic focus. Our uniqueness is summarized by our tagline...

"Depth of Soul ~ Vitality in Service"

It is out of the depth of one's soul, in alignment with God's call, that leaders and teams experience health and vitality in serving Christ and fulfilling his will. When leaders and teams are in concert with God's divine plan for their individual lives and their shared ministries, there is increased joy and effectiveness. As Great Commandment leaders (loving God with heart, soul, mind and strength), they become zealously attuned to fulfilling the Great Commission (serving for the purpose of discipling all nations in the name of the Father, Son and Holy Spirit).

About the Logo

The spiritual transformation of leaders and teams can come as dramatically as a sudden flash of light or as steadily as the sun rising at dawn bringing its first rays of light and growing in its illumination and intensity. It may come from a friend who cares enough to point a flashlight and walk alongside us on the pathway we call life, or it may come from one's awareness of the eye of God turning clearly in our direction. It can even come out from a dark night of the soul when everything else is eclipsed except for a distinct ray of light too powerful for the naked eye.

However the light may appear, the presence of God's transforming grace releases and reveals the fullness of one's Christian experience. And, as the light shines forth from God's heart into the depths of our soul, we become transformed more and more into his likeness. In turn, we become all that God intends as His disciples.

The LTI logo can be interpreted in any of the above ways...as a sudden flash of light, a faithful sunrise, a flashlight, a turning eye of light, or as an eclipse. Whatever your eye sees in this logo, be assured that our prayer is that this depiction of God's transforming light?? evidenced in His Word, His Son Jesus, and His divine call...is what we pray you and your team will experience as you develop a relationship with us.

Step into the light, find comfort in the light, and be guided by His light into all that God desires for you. Be transformed by His love and grace, and be sure to hold fast to the light of Christ every step of the journey before you.

We look forward to following His light into the spiritual formation of leaders and the spiritual discernment processes of leadership teams in local church and parachurch ministry settings. We invite you to join us in this exhilarating journey into the abundance of God's light and love.

"The CHAT church survey really stands out. I like how CHAT identifies your church's strengths, involves every member, is easy to take online, and offers highly-readable results. What a great tool to assess where you are, fill people with hope, and together discern God's will for your future."

Kevin Miller
Executive Vice President

"Steve Macchia is at it again. His burning passion to see churches achieve maximum health has taken the next step. CHAT (Church Health Assessment Tool) provides churches with an easy-to-use look at themselves that could move many congregations toward the health that Steve (and, more importantly, the Spirit) envisions."

Larry Crabb

"Without a doubt, one of the greatest needs of a large number of churches in America is to become more healthy. Leadership Transformations' new CHAT survey should be a great help to all who use it. It is a joy to recommend it to you!"
